Who are the transformers?

ABOUT KINGPINS TRANSFORMERS

Kingpins Transformers, is a summit series spotlighting members of the denim community who are committed to creating, implementing and sharing the changes that need to happen in the jeans industry to make it more environmentally viable, socially responsible and financially sound. The Transformers were developed by Kingpins Show organizers in collaboration with House of Denim.

Our events aim to target and engage a participating audience of denim professionals, educators, and government officials with panels and presentations featuring exceptional industry transformers in each stage of the jean supply chain.

TICKET PRICING

Beginning with our Fall 2018 editions of Transformers in Amsterdam and New York, tickets to our events will no longer be free of charge. As our audience has grown and our caliber of speaker has improved, the cost of producing Transformers has ballooned. And we have grown from one Transformer event per year to four.

Additionally, a free event generates a landslide of RSVPs but does not give us any guarantee that those who RSVP actually show up. This causes a waste of food and beverage and often unnecessary empty seats.

Kingpins Transformers is not and will never be a money-making endeavor for us. It is an opportunity we relish in sharing information and education. We delight in bringing amazing individuals to our guests.

Going forward, the price for each ticket issued will be based on the cost or producing each Transformers. We hope you understand this change of policy and are happy to hear from you on this topic.
